Spring Clean Up is this weekend! Drop off times are as follows:
FRIDAY (5/30) Noon - 2pm
SATURDAY (5/31) 9am - 11am
SUNDAY (6/1) Noon - 2pm
Disposal cost is free for city residents (who reside in city limits and currently pay for garbage services billed through the City of Salix). All drop-offs will be checked by an attendant. Paint, tires, cement, broken glass, construction material or hazardous materials are not accepted. There is a $25 charge for each TV disposal. Attendant accepts cash, or you may ask to have it charged to your garbage bill. Most appliances will be accepted (i.e.: stoves, washing machines, dryers, air conditioners, microwaves, water heaters, etc.) but are to be placed on a separate trailer for recycling.
